Rain, rain, go away, come again during the night. Don't get me wrong, I really do love the rain, but it sure is dreary. And it keeps us indoors a lot. Today it rained. All. Day. Long.
Sweet Pea didn't care. She was a princess and we read a few stories together. She loves being a princess and adores reading books!
And she loves to help with 'Baby Pestin'. She is always hugging and kissing him and was very excited to hold his bottle for him this afternoon.
These two got busy with stickers this afternoon and were quite delighted to show off their handiwork to me. It's like they were getting away with something so it was even more exciting. Funny boys!
This little two year old has been extraordinarily tired this week. I think she must be growing. She has been having huge naps and it took almost half an hour to wake her up this afternoon. I usually let my toddlers sleep for two hours before I open their bedroom doors and start moving around and let them wake up on their own. She wakes up fairly easily and is pretty happy when she awakens. Today, it took us a lot of encouragement to get this sweet little toddler moving. She was in exactly the same position I had left her in when she went to bed. Her covers hadn't even moved. Now, that is sound asleep!
Our youngest blessing is two years old today. She has gone on holiday with her family to a cabin on a lake and will be back on Saturday. I miss her, as I usually see her a few times a week. Here she is showing off her wild side at the park last month. Never to back away from a challenge, she is fiercely independent and very determined. At 28 pounds and 33.5 inches tall, she is a force to be reckoned with, and like I often say, "She didn't get the memo that she is a third child." Her mom has said that if she was the first, there never would have been a second or third. So aren't we all so happy that she is the third!!??? She really is getting easier as she is getting older, but she isn't one to make things easy. It's just so great that she is so darn cute!
She was really sweet when she opened her presents on Saturday. All she kept doing was dumping everything on the floor and moving on to the next present. She really didn't even pay attention to what she was receiving, and just loved making a mess all over the floor. Funny little girl!
