The sun came out this afternoon and we all had a really good few hours playing outside.
Preston just came back from Saskatchewan. He went for the weekend to celebrate his Great-Grandma's 90th birthday, and he is so happy to be home. He didn't like flying.....he cried all the way there and all the way back. And he was very overwhelmed with all the people. I think he is very pleased to be back at Daycare too, I can just tell.
Glenn was taking care of his grandchildren and he always lets them play in the back of the truck. Sweet Pea was very intrigued and asked him if she could go in too. So she did!
She stayed in for quite awhile, and her little friend was quite impressed too. They really liked it in there.
Oh Ethan! He was drawing with the sidewalk chalk and I turned around to this! What a funny boy!
And these three totally enjoyed each other's company today. I love all the friendships that they are all forming.
I am a wife, a mother, a friend. I own and operate my own family business, a licensed daycare in my home. I often say that I don't really work, which I don't, I play. Rod Black once said that if you choose a career you love, then you never have to work a day in your life. I know that I have done that. Children fascinate me, they have very intriguing behaviours and although I often think I need to evolve past the age of 5, I keep coming back to take care of all the little children. They are the lights of my life, and they help to make my life complete.
