I guess that I just have to be grateful that I don't live on the west coast of Vancouver Island.
As a matter of fact, it looks like it's not going to rain too terribly much in Maple Ridge today. But it is November. And it is going to rain.
I am happy that it stayed dry for Halloween evening. When I went downtown last week, I saw that Science World was all decorated like a jack-o-lantern and I thought it looked great. So when this came through my newsfeed yesterday, I thought that I should share. I love Vancouver!
I am a wife, a mother, a friend. I own and operate my own family business, a licensed daycare in my home. I often say that I don't really work, which I don't, I play. Rod Black once said that if you choose a career you love, then you never have to work a day in your life. I know that I have done that. Children fascinate me, they have very intriguing behaviours and although I often think I need to evolve past the age of 5, I keep coming back to take care of all the little children. They are the lights of my life, and they help to make my life complete.
