It's the first day of Spring Break and it's raining. As a matter of fact, the forecast is for rain, rain and more rain. Because it's also the first day after the clocks changed, everyone is fairly mellow.
We went to the library this afternoon and the boys had a really nice time. Tai and Lucas were so pleased to play on the computers while Isaac played with the magnets.
The big boys had to be taught how to use a mouse. I know they have probably used them before, but you can tell that they are far more used to playing on touch screens. It wasn't very busy when we first arrived, but Parks and Rec showed up with their kids after 45 minutes of us being there so we didn't stay too much longer after that.
They were very entertained with the wooden puzzles. I thought that they might think that they were too easy, but that didn't seem to matter.
This little guy stayed longer at the puzzle table than the others. He was having so much fun!
I am a wife, a mother, a friend. I own and operate my own family business, a licensed daycare in my home. I often say that I don't really work, which I don't, I play. Rod Black once said that if you choose a career you love, then you never have to work a day in your life. I know that I have done that. Children fascinate me, they have very intriguing behaviours and although I often think I need to evolve past the age of 5, I keep coming back to take care of all the little children. They are the lights of my life, and they help to make my life complete.
