This is how they posed themselves. All I asked them to do was stand in front of the picture of the monkey. So this is what they did. It's too bad that Lukas moved and he's not looking, but he is definitely posing.

When their friends went to sleep this morning, I pulled out the pegboards for Baby and Isaac. They were so happy!
These two get along really well. It's because Isaac is so easy-going, but it's fun to teach them and listen to them converse. Baby chats constantly. Isaac, not as much. But he does add to conversation when he is able.
We talked about colours, shapes, sizes, differences and we counted and sorted some pegs. They were totally engaged.
They were having so much fun putting the pegs in and taking them out. They also liked to spin them.
So good for their fine motor control. This activity lasted for almost an hour, as they were more than happy to make more than one picture.
Such sweet little cousins. Playing, learning and making pegboard pictures.
I asked them to show me a blue peg. So they did. Isaac liked that he showed me a light blue peg and Baby had a dark blue one.

We spend quite a few hours at the ball field in the Spring, but this morning was the first time that it was warm enough to apply sunscreen. Grandson played so well today......he hit a stand up triple and he was so exciting to watch. And it probably would have been a home run if the girl in front of him didn't run so slow, but that's okay. He had 3 RBI's, and that was almost as good.
I love how excited the children get to run the dragon race at the end of the game. If there were marks given out on effort and enthusiasm, then my favourite grandson would definitely get an A+. He is #11, waiting for the ball pass-off.
He tries so hard and runs so fast around those bases. Here he is running to give the ball to #4 who is waiting for him at the base.
You would never know that they had just won the game 16-9, for the amount of cheering that goes on as everyone has their turn to run around the bases.
I love this! Can you see Grandson in mid-jump? So excited that his team wins the dragon race!
More cheering and throwing hats in the air! Seven, eight and nine year olds are very entertaining.

We decided not to go to the library this morning. The weather was so pleasant and to be honest, we really don't like the guy that's been doing Storytime lately. He's got as much personality as a wet noodle......his voice is monotone and he always gets upset with the children when they don't listen. I always wonder why he even does it, as he sure doesn't appear to enjoy it. At all.
And so we went out for a neighbourhood walk to see if the horses were out. They weren't in their usual spot but we were able to walk over to the front of the farm and we could see them from a distance.
The children were all very happy to look at them from afar. We looked for a bit and then went across the street to see if we could find some ducks.
Miracle #3 saw a duck and ten ducklings when she left my house yesterday. She had to stop and let them go across the street.
So we went to try and find them. Unfortunately, they were no where to be found, but everyone still liked to look into the water. We saw a few fish, but that was it.
We walked home a different way than we came, which took us through the walkway. They all thought it was so fun to climb on the fence!
Preston is just a little bit to short to get up, and that was okay by me, but he really wanted to join in.
So I went to help him and hold him. He chipped his tooth at the park on Tuesday and then bumped his chin on a table yesterday. He has a great big bandaid on his chin that doesn't show up in the picture, but he needs to be extra careful. I know it's just his age, but he's just a bit too accident prone this week!
It was so cute when Baby decided to take care of her friend. And he allowed her to hold his hand most of the way home.
I always feel so proud when they listen and cooperate. We all had lots of fun this morning!

Lucas and Isaac have been home with their Dad for the past six weeks, as he wasn't working. We missed them. Isaac still came to Music and MyGym so we saw him a little bit but it wasn't the same. Well, JP started back at work today and it was like no time had passed. Sweet Pea was so excited to see them this morning!

We went over to their house for dinner tonight and came home with three blessings. They aren't really here for very long as they all have plans tomorrow and will be picked up by 10:30. Still, it gave us a little bit of time before bed to read some stories and enjoy them.

It's a three day weekend! And we have absolutely no plans......there aren't any appointments or ball games scheduled. I slept in until just before 9 o'clock which is so rare. The sun is shining and it's supposed to get warmer and warmer as the week progresses. There's a huge part of me that thinks that I should make some plans, and there's another part of me that just wants to be lazy and stay in my pyjamas until noon. So far, the latter is winning.

It's Friday before the May long weekend and it's supposed to be warm and sunny for the next week. We enjoyed our cloud cover this morning....it was so nice!
I lined them all up just before we walked our pre-schoolers to the church for 12:30. Finn was so tired....and I really think that this is the first time that he wouldn't smile in a picture for me.
They make me smile. Every. Single. Day.
These two love each other. They really liked looking at the hydrangea plant and decided that I needed to take their picture while they sat beside it.
So I took three. Three is always better than one, right?
This one is my favourite. Sweet little blonde blue-eyed three year olds.

Guess who is six years old today? Yes, it is our third born grandchild......who came bounding into our lives on that sunny Friday the thirteenth in 2011. It really doesn't seem that six years have already gone by.
